Why are these sponges such an essential part of the estheticians tool box?
These are made of natural materials, cotton and wood fiber. They are safe for all skin types. These durable little sponges are very soft, but have just enough exfoliating to gently remove blackheads and dead skin cells.
Use on your client, then send home the sponge you used with your client to continue using until their next visit!
These sponges in compressed form save a tremendous amount of space in storage.
Just look at how much space detailed in the picture to the left.
They are durable and will last through several applications. However, once expanded, they do not go back to compressed form.
The most popular go to color has always been the natural beige, although it does look almost like a gold yellow.
A very close second is the white.
Both colors are going to be the most hygenic being that they do not have added dyes.
These sponge can come in your choice of thickness and diameter. 5/16", 3/8", 5/8" thicknesses. 5/8" used to be the most popular being that it is a hardy & thick sponge.
These days, to save cost, the 3/8" has been the best compromise for thickness before going down to the 5/16" sponge.
We do not recommend the 1/4" sponges.
